Dr. Deidre Anderson is a well sought-after corporate trainer, charismatic speaker, award-winning leadership coach, and licensed minister with a heart to see others succeed. Dr. D, as she is affectionately known, has traveled the world, inspiring people from all walks of life to break through barriers to achieve more than they ever dreamed possible. Whether in the corporate arena, the women’s domain or in ministry, Dr. D helps others to discover their true potential while motivating and inspiring them to reach higher.  She believes that organizations that invest in diverse leadership teams that include qualified women are stronger and deliver better results now and in the future. By helping companies to strengthen their leadership bench and equipping women to become the best leaders that they can be, she creates a win-win for everyone.

As a successful female executive, Dr. D can relate to the challenges and obstacles that many women face as they strive to navigate work and life. She understands the unique plight of women in leadership and has blazed a trail to lead them forward. Her one-of-a-kind programs are designed for women by women. Through a unique, people-centered approach, she teaches public and private sector clients how to better succeed in the 21st century by capitalizing on the common traits that women bring to the table (e.g., connecting, collaborating, empathizing, and communicating).
Dr. D is also the founder of Women Empowered, a non-profit organization designed to help women become the best leaders they can be. The mission of Women Empowered is to create a movement that dares women to break the mold. This community of lifelong learners promotes healing and wholeness by encouraging women to grow in their leadership, affirm one another’s gifts, and support one another in their journey. The organization strives to encourage women to step out, be courageous, and take action in order to fulfill their dreams. They also encourage women to share what they learn to help others advance and to give back to the local and worldwide community Dr. D, fueled by a passion to help women be the best leaders they can be, combined her extensive training and coaching background with her doctoral research in the field of strategic leadership and change management to create a stellar program just for them. She teaches three tenets of leadership, the ABCs – Authenticity, Boldness and Change – through her TransformHer Women’s Leadership Program.

Her belief is that when women lead authentically and boldly, everything in and around them changes; they transform their families, communities, workplaces and the world – from the inside out. She encourages women to join the powerful sisterhood of women who inspire, support and empower one another to dream big, reach high, and become the change this world needs. Each year, Dr. D leads women on a journey of transformation that includes six months of small group coaching. The program culminates with a destination retreat and Women’s Conference. Women Empowered has established an international presence, traveling to worldwide destinations including Paris, Punta Cana, Italy, Greece, and Cancun.
