Inspiring Culturally-based Solutions for a Global Impact
Inspiring culturally-based solutions to complex problems is what CHC does best. By first working with local leaders and community stakeholders to understand the cultural context, we then work with them to create a vision of what they want to achieve and to design and realize creative leadership solutions that advance understanding, mitigate harm and move ever closer to making their vision a reality.
For more than a decade Carlton Hall has led efforts working with national, local and community leaders to build or enhance a prevention infrastructure in Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Bermuda and others.
CHC continues this work with professionals and community leaders from across the globe who support and promote effective drug demand reduction principles and strive to advance engagement and capacity building among non-government organizations (NGO's) who are working to stem illicit drug use and promote sound drug policy around the world.
United Nations
CHC is honored to be invited to contribute annual convenings of The Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), the governing body of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). CHC has co-organized, delivered and participated in side meetings and special events.

From September through November 2021, WFAD and Carlton Hall Consulting LLC successfully organized the 5-fold Prevention Webinar Series. I co-led the planning, design and delivery, Every other week, an aspect of Prevention was highlighted and discussed by experienced keynote speakers and panelists in the field. Dr Zili Sloboda (co-developer of the Universal Prevention Curriculum being trained all over the world) will provide an overview of the evaluation of prevention science, its application to evidence-based interventions and policies, and much more. A panel debate (including Matej Košir from Europe and Chantelle Pepper from South Africa, will join me), with experienced and knowledgeable panelists, will follow the presentation and will also answer questions from the audience.
